CROSS BODY BAG

MATERIALS:
- 50g of DK/8ply 100% cotton yarn in a beautiful colour of your choice (this may change depending on size you create)
- 4.5mm Crochet hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
- Ruler or tape measure

Ch=Chain
HDC=Half Double Crochet
Sl st=Slip Stitch
St(s)=Stitches
Rep=Repeat
SC=Single Crochet

Cross Body Bag
A must have accessory, modern cross body bag, perfect and comfortable for everyday wear. This can be made in any size and colour of your choice. Simply increase/decrease the shape as you please. Make the pattern your own! 
PATTERN:
BAG:
FOUNDATION CHAIN: Ch 30
ROW 1: HDC into every St until last St and then HDC 6 times into last St
ROW 2: HDC into every St, Sl St into first St
ROW 3 and 4: Ch 1, HDC all the way around in a circle, Sl St into first St 
Row 5: Ch 1, SC, skip 2 St(s), complete a shell into the next St (DC, Ch 2, DC, Ch2, DC), continue this all the way around, finish with a shell, Sl St into the first SC
ROW 6: Ch 1, complete a shell into the SC (DC, Ch 2, DC, Ch2, DC), skip 2 St(s), SC into the middle of the first shell (or second DC of shell), continue this all the way around, finish with a SC, Sl St into first DC
ROW 7 : Sl St into Ch space right after the 1st DC, Ch 1, SC into the middle of the first shell (or second DC of shell), skip 2 St(s), complete a shell into the SC (DC, Ch 2, DC, Ch2, DC), continue this all the way around, finish with a shell, Sl St into the first SC
ROW 8 - 19: Repeat ROWS 6 and 7 
ROW 20 - 22: Ch 1, HDC all the way around,(HDC in every gap and every SC) Sl St into the first HDC
Ch 2 to fasten off and pull yarn through
STRAP:
Insert hook into LHS if bag and Ch 160, secure to RHS with SC. Single crochet over strap 2 more times.
Weave in all your ends with needle 
I also love to use a bit of steam from the iron to make the bag look beautiful and finished.
